“The house was exactly how it is shown in pictures. We have 5 boys over the age of 15. They thoroughly enjoyed the pool/ping pong table, dart board and pool. My only suggestion would be to hang a rod in the master closet for clothes and to have more supplies for storing food in the fridge. We cooked or brought home leftovers overs and there was no place to put remainders. Everything else was wonderful. At one point the shower drain got clogged and the owner had the plumber there the very next day. We enjoyed this house a lot!”

“Our stay at Marks Place was great. We enjoyed the backyard area and that it had a locked fence around the pool, it made it easy for us all to be outside when we didn’t want to be in the water and not worry about our littles falling in while they played or we grilled. Everything was as described and we will definitely be booking again. Honeymoon island was only a short drive and we enjoyed the convenience of it being so close to the house. We didn’t enjoy the upstairs deck much because of the sun, but it would’ve made a good spot for dinner if it had an umbrella. ☺️ we look forward to planning another vacation soon to Marks Place.”

“The thing I appreciated the most about our stay was the comfortable beds and the fact that the kitchen had all the things you would need. We didn't have to make an unnecessary trip to store because there was only one roll of tissue paper or paper towels. There were even k cups for your coffeemaker. This was a quick trip to Tampa to get my son into college and what a relief it was to not have to bring or buy those things. The place has been updated so although it's in a neighborhood of mostly older homes, we thoroughly enjoyed the updated aesthetic and comfortable vibe. Mark was very communicative. Welcoming us from the moment we got there until the morning we left. The ONLY thing I would suggest is perhaps updated the couch. It was comfortable, just a little worn. Beds/linens/dishes/appliances all were great. Will definitely stay again when I come to visit my son.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this home. Everything was clean and well maintained. The owner was very responsive when I had a question and quickly addressed a minor issue. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes (including children's), pots/pans, and appliances. The pool was lovely, and the grill was a nice bonus. The only suggestion/caution I would add is that the thermostat will only go down to 70 for 4 hours and then adjust back to the preset temperature. However, that may not be an issue for some. I also did not reach out to him about the thermostat; as it was preset. Overall, it was a nice place, close to everything with room for everyone. Check-out was a breeze, which made an early flight manageable. Mark was a great host, and we will look at booking it again in the future.”
